In the 1960s, a Kinks song was a byword for an acute and often wickedly accurate observation of post-war British society. Formed by brothers Ray and Dave Davies in the early `60s, the band, together with the Rolling Stones and the Who, became one of Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005.
